Israel Gutier – Travel photographer based in Spain.
Travel photography is one of the most complete disciplines in photography because you must control social photography, landscapes, documentary, architecture, portrait … and all with only one option to make it work. There is no second chance, so you have to be quick and have a good eye to find the right composition depending on the situation you are in. I have dropped the camera many times for running to capture «that unique moment».
More than 100 countries traveled quietly, enjoying the people and local life. Sometimes I don’t take photos because I prefer to enjoy the moment, then I regret it, but it passes quickly.
I work as a freelance photographer for different magazines and newspapers. I also write travel articles and content for different brands.
I left everything to fulfill my dream of knowing the world, the people who inhabit it, the most spectacular landscapes and cultures different from mine. All this, behind a photography camera.
I have done publicity photography work away from travel photography and currently I also run TravelPhoto Magazine.

La fotografía de viajes es una de las disciplinas más completas dentro de la fotografía ya que debes controlar la fotografía social, paisajes, documental, arquitectura, interiores, retrato… y todo ello con una sola opción para que salga bien. No hay una segunda oportunidad, así que hay que ser rápido y tener muy buen ojo para encontrar la composición idónea según la situación en la que te encuentres. Se me ha caído la cámara muchas veces por salir corriendo para captar «ese momento único».
Más de 100 países recorridos tranquilamente, disfrutando de la gente y la vida local. Hay veces que no hago fotos porque prefiero disfrutar del momento, luego me arrepiento, pero se me pasa pronto.
Trabajo como fotógrafo freelance para diferentes revistas y periódicos. También escribo artículos de viaje y contenido para diferentes marcas.
Dejé todo por cumplir mi sueño de conocer el mundo, la gente que lo habita, los paisajes más espectaculares y las culturas diferentes a la mía. Todo ello, detrás de una cámara de fotografía.
He realizado trabajos fotográficos publicitarios alejados de la fotografía de viaje y actualmente también dirijo la revista de viajes y fotografía TravelPhoto Magazine.
